City of Charlottesville Announces Winners for 2025 'Imagine a Day without Water' Art Contest

Charlottesville, VA – The City of Charlottesville, in collaboration with local water authorities, has officially announced the winners of the 2025 "Imagine a Day without Water" art contest. The competition, designed to highlight the critical importance of water efficiency, recognized students across various grade levels and special categories, celebrating their creative interpretations of the theme.

Among the distinguished winners are Adam Zouari, who took top honors in the K-2nd Grade category, and Natalie Salazar Fraire, recognized for her submission in the 9th-12th Grade division. The contest engaged students from various local schools, including Mountain View Elementary and Charlottesville High School, fostering awareness about water conservation.

Additional winners announced include Anna Ramsay for the 3rd-4th Grade category, Lydia Jones for the 5th-6th Grade category, and Ellie McWhorter for the 7th-8th Grade category. Beyond the grade-level distinctions, special recognition was given to Jackson Reeve, who received the Best Photography award, and Kinsleigh Breeden, who was honored with the Fan Favorite prize.

The "Imagine a Day without Water" contest serves as an educational initiative, encouraging younger generations to reflect on the value of water resources and the potential impact of their absence.
