The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) has announced its selection of Bowers Artists for the 2027–2030 seasons, a prestigious recognition that includes acclaimed musicians Brian Isaacs and Haddon Kay. Their appointments come on the heels of significant victories in international competitions, with CMS specifically citing these recent achievements as contributing factors to their selection.

Brian Isaacs, a notable figure among the newly named Bowers Artists, secured the highly coveted 2025 Geneva Competition First Prize. This victory positioned him as a standout talent, drawing the attention of the CMS selection committee. The Geneva Competition is recognized globally for identifying exceptional musical prowess, and Isaacs' first-place finish highlights his skill and artistry.

Joining Isaacs as a 2027–2030 Bowers Artist is Haddon Kay, whose distinguished performance at the 2024 George Enescu International Cello Competition earned him a significant prize. This achievement further solidified Kay's reputation as a compelling musician, aligning with the high standards sought by CMS for its Bowers Artists program. The George Enescu International Cello Competition is an esteemed platform for emerging and established cellists, making Kay's recognition there a testament to his musical excellence.

The Bowers Artists program is designed to support and showcase exceptional chamber musicians, providing opportunities for performance and artistic development.
