Egor “SwizzY” Luciko and Wilmer “Pixie” Juriander, representing HavoK by Vitality, have emerged as the champions of the FNCS 2026 Global Championship. The victory, announced on September 28, 2026, marks a significant milestone for the duo in the Fortnite competitive scene.
The tournament has drawn substantial attention, with reports indicating it has become the most popular esports tournament in seven years. The success of the FNCS 2026 Global Championship highlights the continued growth and massive viewership within the Fortnite competitive ecosystem.
This victory comes amidst a highly active month for the global esports industry, which has seen a flurry of major championship conclusions. Earlier in September, Team Falcons secured the Rocket League 2026 World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, with a 4-0 sweep against Spacestation Gaming. Additionally, the Esports World Cup saw several champions crowned, including Team Vision, who took home a $150,000 grand prize for winning Teamfight Tactics, and Virtus.pro, who claimed victory in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
Other major titles were also decided during this period. BlizzCon 2026 concluded on September 14, featuring several Blizzard esports champions such as South Korea in the Overwatch World Cup, Team Liquid in the World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon International, and OTGxhho in the Hearthstone Masters Tour World Championship. Meanwhile, in the Dota 2 circuit, Team Spirit was crowned the winner of The International 2026.
As the competitive season continues to yield high-stakes results across various titles, the dominance shown by HavoK by Vitality at the FNCS Global Championship stands as a premier highlight of the month's esports achievements.
