Jialin Yao has been named the champion of the 2026 Dallas International Piano Competition, securing the prestigious 1st Prize following the final round held at Moody Performance Hall in Dallas. In addition to the top honor, Yao also garnered the Audience Award, reflecting strong public support for her performance.
The highly anticipated final round of the competition took place on June 23, culminating in the announcement of the 2026 winners. The event showcased exceptional talent from around the globe, with finalists hailing from various countries.
Joining Yao on the winners' podium were Kamil Pacholec, who was awarded the 2nd Prize, and Miao Gao, who received the 3rd Prize. Pacholec's second-place finish brought recognition to Poland, while Gao's third-place achievement highlighted talent from China, underscoring the international scope and competitive nature of the Dallas International Piano Competition.
