Valley Catholic High School has been named the recipient of the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association’s (OACA) 3A All Sports Award for the 2025–26 school year. This prestigious recognition identifies Valley Catholic as the top overall athletic program within the 3A classification, reflecting consistent success across a range of boys’ and girls’ sports throughout the academic year.
The OACA All Sports Award evaluates schools based on their performance in state-level competitions. Valley Catholic High School's athletic departments demonstrated exceptional results, contributing significantly to their overall points total. Among the notable team achievements that underpinned this recognition were the Boys Basketball team, who secured the 3A State Champions title. The Girls Volleyball team also delivered an outstanding performance, earning back-to-back State Champions honors.
Further contributing to the school's success, the Girls Basketball team achieved a strong 4th place finish at the state championships, while the Boys Cross Country team placed 6th at the state level. These collective accomplishments across multiple disciplines underscored the depth and breadth of athletic talent and coaching within the Valley Catholic High School program.
In addition to the overall team award, the school's athletic excellence was further highlighted by individual recognition. Becky Kemper, the Girls Volleyball Coach, was honored with the Volleyball Coach of the Year award, acknowledging her leadership and the sustained success of her team.
Valley Catholic High School was formally announced as the 2025–26 3A All Sports winner. Other schools recognized for their top overall athletic programs in their respective classifications included Jesuit (6A), Summit (5A), Marist Catholic (4A), Bandon (2A), and Union (1A), each celebrated for their athletic achievements across the state of Oregon.
